This role offers the opportunity to step into a senior technical position within a nationally respected water consultancy supporting municipal and authority-led infrastructure projects across Central Pennsylvania.
- Serve as a senior technical contributor on municipal water and wastewater projects
- Work closely with local municipalities and authorities, delivering projects that directly impact the community
- Maintain hands-on technical involvement without full PM or sales pressure
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance across the team
- Operate in a flexible hybrid environment with a stable, predictable workload
- Advance technically toward Principal Engineer, Technical Manager, or Subject Matter Expert roles
- Leading and reviewing technical designs for water and wastewater infrastructure projects
- Performing hydraulic, process, and infrastructure analyses
- Supporting planning, permitting, and regulatory documentation for public-sector clients
- Providing technical oversight during construction and commissioning phases
- Collaborating with Project Managers to ensure technical quality, constructability, and compliance
- Contributing to internal technical standards and best practices
- Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (PA required or obtainable)
- 8–20+ years of experience in water/wastewater or water resources engineering- Strong technical background in treatment facilities, conveyance systems, and municipal utilities
- Experience working with municipalities, authorities, or public-sector clients
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Master’s preferred)
