This is a full-time on-site role located in Greensboro, GA, for a Water Treatment Operator. The Water Treatment Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining water and wastewater treatment systems to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Daily tasks include monitoring and adjusting treatment processes, inspecting pump stations, performing routine maintenance, and responding to operational issues promptly to maintain safe and effective water services for the community.

- Expertise in Plant Operations and familiarity with the daily functions of water and wastewater treatment facilities

- Proficiency in Water Treatment and Wastewater Treatment processes, with a commitment to regulatory compliance

- Experience with Process Control to monitor and adjust treatment protocols for optimal system performance

- Knowledge of Pump Stations and related equipment maintenance

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities

- Ability to work on-site in Eatonton, GA and display reliability and responsibility in daily operations

- Valid certification in water or wastewater treatment operations is preferred

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or relevant certifications are a plus
