Position Summary:
The Water Logistics Associate supports water management operations by coordinating fluid hauling and disposal activities across field locations. This role executes logistics strategies, maintains strong communication with internal teams and external vendors, and ensures accurate tracking and documentation of all hauling activities. This position plays a key role in streamlining operations so field teams can focus on core production while improving efficiency through organization and communication.
- Coordinate daily water hauling and disposal activities to support field operations
- Track and monitor trucking vendors, job progress, and service delivery to ensure timely completion
- Maintain accurate records of jobs, including data entry, work orders, and required documentation
- Communicate and collaborate with field operations, supply chain, and management teams
- Build and maintain relationships with third-party trucking companies and internal stakeholders
- Assist in resolving operational issues, delays, or discrepancies as they arise
- Support invoice processing and ensure alignment between completed work and billing
- Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes and overall efficiency- 1+ year of experience in administrative, logistics, or operations support roles - 1+ year of experience with data entry, reporting, and documentation management - 1+ year of experience supporting invoicing, billing, or basic accounting processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), with at least 1 year of hands-on use
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
- Oil and gas industry experience
- Experience working with third-party vendors or transportation/logistics providers
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Team-oriented with a proactive and solution-focused mindset
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and business need
