The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for providing first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues. This role requires a strong technical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
Essential Duties. IT Support & Troubleshooting
•Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, or in-person
•Troubleshoot workstation and peripheral device issues (keyboards, monitors, printers, etc.).
•Handle complex hardware and software issues for workstations, cloud services(Microsoft 365,Sharepoint), and network connectivity issues.
•Set up and maintain office workstations, ensuring all required hardware and software configurations are in place.
•Set up and maintain new iPhones ensuring all required software configurations are in place.
•Support in-office employees with hands-on troubleshooting for IT issues.
•Support field employees with remote troubleshooting for IT issues.
•Manage asset tracking and hardware inventory for on-site equipment.
•Perform routine maintenance and updates on company hardware.
•Track IT assets and update inventory records.
•Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and replacements.
•Ability to travel to user locations (up to 25% of the time as needed)
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
•1-3 years of IT support experience in a corporate environment.
•Strong knowledge of Windows and IOS operating systems.
•Hands-on experience with remote troubleshooting tools (e.g., TeamViewer, Splashtop).
•Basic understanding of networking concepts, including VPN and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
•Knowledge of Office 365, SharePoint, and Teams.
•Strong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose IT issues efficiently.
•Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
•Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
•Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
•Clean driving record will be required for insurance purposes since this position will require some travel.
Preferred Qualifications
•CompTIA A+, MCP or equivalent certifications.
