With our platform, users create their software applications from simple SCADA to complex control and optimization tools based on Internet-of-Things, Edge Computing, AI, and Machine Learning. Boomerang is located in Midland, TX, but also allows some remote work for its employees.

Role Description

This is a full-time, hybrid role for a Technology Support Specialist. Responsibilities include providing technical support for hardware and software issues, troubleshooting, maintaining artificial lift software applications, and supporting information technology initiatives. The role is located in Midland, TX, but some work from home is acceptable.

Qualifications

- Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills

- Experience in oil and gas production systems

- Knowledge of information technology principles and practices

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, engineering, or related field

- Experience with cloud computing, Internet-of-Things, Edge Computing, AI, or Machine Learning is a plus
