Position Specific Description

This strategic role provides comprehensive IT support to NextEra Energy's executives while serving as a career advancement opportunity into senior-level IT positions. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with exceptional executive presence, business acumen, and the advanced capabilities needed for progression to specialized senior roles, technical leadership, or strategic positions within our organization.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Support & Relationship Management:

- Serve as the primary IT liaison for company executives, providing white-glove technical support with discretion and professionalism

- Manage complex, multi-stakeholder technology initiatives requiring executive-level communication and project oversight

- Proactively anticipate executive technology needs and deliver solutions before issues impact productivity

- Maintain absolute confidentiality while navigating sensitive executive communications and requirements

Technical Leadership & Innovation:

- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing enterprise-level technology solutions

- Identify and champion process improvements, automation opportunities, and AI-driven enhancements

- Serve as subject matter expert for emerging technologies and their strategic business applications

- Coordinate complex project implementations across multiple IT teams and business units

Strategic Business Partnership:

- Translate technical concepts into business value propositions for executive stakeholders

- Participate in strategic technology planning and roadmap development

- Represent executive-level interests in IT meetings and decision-making processes

- Serve as liaison between executive leadership and automation teams by analyzing operational challenges, documenting process improvement opportunities, and translating business requirements into technical specifications

- Participate in organizational change through technology adoption and digital transformation initiatives

Preferred Technical Expertise

- Enterprise Systems: Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Windows/Active Directory, macOS, iOS ecosystems

- Collaboration Technologies: Expert-level support for WebEx, Teams, Zoom, and AV systems

- Network Infrastructure: Deep understanding of TCP/IP, LAN, Wi-Fi, and enterprise networking

- Service Management: Proficiency with ServiceNow and ITSM best practices

- Emerging Technologies: Experience with AI tools, automation platforms, and digital transformation technologies

- Asset Management: Enterprise-level device lifecycle management and procurement processes

Job Overview

This position is responsible for day-to-day (24 hours per day, seven days per week) operational support for an organization's Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) infrastructure, including data- and voice-related activities. Employees in this role provide technical support for all client devices with a high degree of customer contact and focus, ultimately generating a high degree of customer satisfaction.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

- Identifies new or trending issues, determines root causes, and quickly resolves the issues

- Acts as a liaison between project and engineering teams and the ultimate customer

- Coordinates, schedules, and performs the end-work required to implement projects

- Provides Technology Café Associate support

- Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

- High School Grad / GED

- Bachelor’s or Equivalent Experience

- Experience: 2+ years
