IT Support Technician

Description:

The primary responsibility would be to answer support requests for on and off-site users and prepare and deploy workstations and mobile devices.

Nature and Scope of position:

- Answer tier-one and tier-two help desk tickets via phone and email, escalating as necessary.

- Setup user workspaces.

- Configuring, deploying, and repairing laptops and desktops.

- Configuring IP phones.

- Configuring and deploying mobile devices (Android and iOS).

- Documentation and Asset Management.

- Provide end-user training.

- Cabling Infrastructure.

- Some Travel Required.

Requirements:

Qualifications and Education:

- Experience with office IT support and troubleshooting.

- Associates or Bachelor's degree in IT-related field preferred.

- Desire to continuously learn new skills.

- Experience with supporting remote users.

- Experience with Microsoft NAVBC or Great Plains a plus.

- Server and network experience a plus.

- Structured Cabling experience a plus.

- Troubleshooting skills.

- Ability to communicate professionally via phone and email.

- Customer service skills.

- Organization and Time Management Proficiency.

- Ability to work in the US without sponsorship

- Must be able to meet company’s employment requirements, which includes passing a drug screen, criminal background check, and MVR, if driving for the company

- Physical Requirements: include occasional lifting/carrying of 10 pounds; visual acuity, speech and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment. Subject to sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting, and kneeling to perform the essential functions. Working conditions are primarily inside an office environment. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
