Team Lead, Supply Chain Management

Harvest has an immediate opening for a Team Lead, Supply Chain Management

, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This is a

based out of the Harvest Calgary office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver an SCM Strategy to meet Harvest’s business requirements and deliver financial savings within SCM Portfolio (category management, contract management, materials management including surplus sales along with supplier performance management)

• Provide supervision to direct reports, as well as coaching and mentoring

• Ensure compliance of Sourcing & Procurement Policy and Procedures

• Ensure SCM delivers value creation measured by cost reduction and strategic purchasing opportunities

• Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement SCM initiatives

• Measure and monitor SCM status, performance and results through KPI metrics

• Maintain effective communication and positive collaborative relations with key stakeholders

• Produce regular reports on performance and provide comprehensive management information and in-depth analysis, when requested, including spend analysis, savings secured, and potential savings for forecast and budgets

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Contract Management, and Supplier Relationship Management

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry; experience in SAGD is considered an asset

• Bachelor’s degree and/or SCMP designation is considered an asset

• Strong leadership and management experience in leading high-performance teams

• Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to comfortably address and collaborate with members of the C-Level

• Exceptional negotiation and problem-solving skills to resolve complex business situations and determine efficient approaches to provide permanent solutions
