Job Responsibilities
Streamlining Company Documents:
•Position Descriptions: Ensure position descriptions are comprehensive, accurate, and reflect the current roles and responsibilities of each position.
•Guidebooks: Partner with LDM & WDA to ensure guidebooks reflect changes in policies and procedures.
•Training Maps: Collaborate with LDM & WDA to maintain/create training maps, ensuring they align with job descriptions and company requirements.
•Interview Sheets: Develop/update standardized interview sheets that are consistent across all departments.
Career Fairs & Networking:
•Actively Engage: Identify, coordinate, and participate in career events.
•Network: Showcase Weigand and maintain relationships post-event.
•Document: Collect student info. and follow-up with desired students.
•Create: Assist in content creation used for recruiting purposes.
•Schedule: Proactively reach out to schools and schedule events.
Recruiting/Onboarding:
•Use TA results to curate interview questions.
•Conducts all interviews and correspondence.
•Document/update hiring process steps in BambooHR.
•Connect with directors to understand their talent needs.
•Utilize/create engaging job descriptions for various platforms.
•Manage our open requisitions on LinkedIn, Indeed, and BambooHR.
•Actively engage with candidates on Indeed Messenger and LinkedIn.
•Promptly acknowledge applications and follow the proper hiring steps.
•Collaborates with HR Manager and WDA for contracts/onboarding prep.
Internship Program Director:
•Conducts all intern interviews and correspondence.
•Develops engaging summer intern content/activities.
•Informs directors/mentors of orientation and expectations.
•Updates annual intern itinerary and connects with leadership.
•Collaborates with partners for Professional Development Conference.
•Connects with hiring managers/Corey Bailey for mentor/hire assignments.
•Communicates expectations through GroupMe and supports intern inquiries.
•Manages lifecycle of the summer internship program (i.e. hiring, onboarding).
Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related fields.
•Proven experience in recruiting or talent management.
•Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
•Analytical skills to identify and address workforce challenges effectively.
