Job Summary

Supports the Talent Acquisition team in the recruiting process. Monitors the I-9 process, partners with the team in new hire orientations, summer internships and career fairs. Upholds confidentiality of all information.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

•

Partners with Talent Acquisition Specialists to create an outstanding candidate experience from application through offer and assures the proper communication takes place throughout the recruiting process.

•

Administers the pre-employment and random testing process for Border States which includes scheduling and follow up with third party vendor for results.

•

Responsible for monitoring the I-9 process and keeping forms up to date.

•

Assists in conducting New Hire Orientation at the Support Center and via Teams for branch locations when needed.

•

Assists in scheduling interviews and contacting applicants

•

Handles employment-related inquires from employees and supervisors and referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate HR team member

•

Assists in coordinating Spring and Fall career fair schedule

•

Coordinates Summer Internship program with Talent Acquisition Specialist and plans activities for the Interns

•

Assists with questions regarding applicant data

•

Maintains confidentiality of all HR related information

Non-Essential Functions

•

Produces and distributes standard and ad hoc reports to managers/supervisors

•

Ensures employee information is properly filed and retained including offer letters

•

Updates and monitors third party recruiting sites

•

Assists other HR functions as needed such with benefits/compensation, administration, recruiting/hiring/onboarding activities, employee relations and training needs

•

Contributes to strategic priorities and continuous improvement efforts

•

Acts as a liaison between employees and management, as needed

•

Other duties as assigned by supervisor or other designate

Qualifications

•

Minimum of two-year degree or equivalent HR experience required

•

Strong working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint) is required.

•

Prior experience with ATS systems is preferred.
