Supplier Quality Inspector- Certified Welder

PPI Quality & Engineering is seeking a seasoned Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) for an assignment in Tualatin, Oregon. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who brings deep technical knowledge, strong field presence, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform welding inspections in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications

- Verify weld quality, procedures, and documentation

- Identify non-conformances and work with project teams to support resolution

- Ensure compliance with the PPI Quality Management System and client requirements

- Provide accurate, timely inspection reports

Required Qualifications

- AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) — active certification required

- 10+ years of welding inspection experience

- Strong knowledge of welding codes and standards (AWS, ASME, API, as applicable)

- Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills

- Ability to work independently in a field-based environment

Duration: 3 months ( Jan- March)
