Job Description

FLINT is seeking a Superintendent - Night shift for a project-based role in Empress, Alberta starting late June 2026 through October 2026. The scope includes heavy rigging mechanical and piping work, critical lifts, and pre-planning, with primarily bolt-up piping and limited onsite welding. This position follows a 12 & 2 rotation with 10-hour days and offers a $165/day LOA.

What would you be doing?

- Provide supervision to multiple crews and services.

- Prepare, monitor, and drive project schedule with the operations team to ensure budget and timelines are met.

- Estimate and manage project labour and material requirements.

- Establish, implement, and oversee site safety plans and quality control measures,

- Manage resources to maintain and enhance critical equipment performance.

Qualifications

- Is results-oriented, passionate about construction and has proven experience managing construction sites.

- Extensive experience in supervisory roles on industrial client sites with a solutions-focused mindset.

- A journeyperson ticket in a mechanical or electrical trade is considered an asset.

- Proven leader who motivates people and maintains effective relationships with clients and crew.

- Have valid safety tickets such as CSTS, Standard First Aid, and Common Safety Orientation (CSO).

- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.

Additional Information

This position has been identified as a safety-sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
