We are seeking a skilled fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various welding techniques and a strong understanding of the fabrication processes to make stairs, rails and other misc metals. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and a commitment to safety standards. The fabricator will work in a dynamic environment, contributing to the construction and manufacturing of high-quality products.
- Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW, and Stick welding on various materials including sheet metal and pipes.
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to layout and fabricate metal components.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment effectively for fabrication tasks.
- Operate cranes and forklifts safely while moving materials around the shop.
- Ensure all welds meet ASME codes & standards for quality assurance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
- Proven experience in fabrication and welding with a focus on MIG, TIG, FCAW, and Stick techniques.
- 3+ years’ experience fabricating stairs, rails, and other misc. metals.- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools accurately.
- Proficiency reading and interpreting drawings
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
