US Wire Group

is the parent of three independent companies (five manufacturing facilities) which produce steel wire and cable/wire related products that serve many industries. The Position

The Staff Accountant reports to the Accounting Supervisor. This position assists the Accounting Supervisor and Controller in ensuring that the Company’s accounting processes, including policies, are in accordance with US GAAP.

Job Description

- Bank reconciliation of multiple accounts

- Processing of payroll, with multi-site & multi-state

- Accounts Payable + invoice processing

- Month’s end closings

- General ledger analysis - journal entries, budgets, forecasting

- Chart of accounts

- Accounts Receivables

- Advanced user experience with Excel

- Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

- 5+ years Accounting experience in manufacturing production

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or similar discipline (comparable work experience will be considered in leu of a degree).

- Excellent verbal and written communication

- Experience “closing” of financial records monthly in a timely

- Experienced in general

Physical Requirements

- Ability to pass a background check and drug

- Prior experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing
