Staff Accountant

Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking a Staff Accountant to support company-wide accounting operations. Thoroughness, accuracy, and honesty are necessary traits for this position. This is a full-time position to be performed at the Edgewater office in Oak Ridge, TN.

This is an entry to mid-level position with growth opportunities in the future.

Job Description:

- Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

- Accounts Receivable management

- Reviewing Expense reports

- Vendor management

- Onboarding assistance

- Timekeeping management

- Accounts Receivable and Invoicing

- ACH and EFT processing and posting

Skills Requirements:

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (strong Microsoft Excel experience is desired)

- Detail oriented

- Professional manner and strong ethical code

- Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat Pro

- Ability to work independently

- Verbal and written communication skills

- Commitment to working efficiently and accurately

- Past experience with Accounts Receivable is a plus

- Experience with Deltek Costpoint is a plus

Education Requirements:

- Associates degree in accounting, business management or related field.

- Bachelor's degree or MBA preferred.
