Dans le cadre des activités des transformateurs de puissance d’Hitachi Energy, vous contribuerez à orienter la transformation Lean de l’installation de Varennes pendant un moment charnière de croissance. La demande d’infrastructures électriques fiables et haute performance continue d’augmenter, et Hitachi Energy élargit son site de Varennes afin de doubler la capacité de production de transformateurs de puissance élevée. Dans le cadre de vos fonctions, vous guiderez l’adoption du système de gestion intégrée des transformateurs (ITM), un cadre clé qui définit les outils, les pratiques et les méthodes de travail qui alimentent des résultats opérationnels révolutionnaires dans l’ensemble de nos activités mondiales de transformation.

Vous collaborerez étroitement avec des équipes multidisciplinaires pour réaliser des projets qui favorisent l’augmentation de la capacité et l’amélioration du rendement. C’est l’occasion de façonner la façon dont l’usine conçoit ses flux de travail, son équipement et son aménagement, tout en aidant les gens à tous les niveaux à renforcer une mentalité d’amélioration continue. Votre travail contribuera directement à la fiabilité, à la qualité et à l’excellence opérationnelle au sein de la chaîne d’approvisionnement du réseau électrique, tout en vous donnant des occasions significatives d’accroître votre influence sur les pratiques Lean et les initiatives de transformation.

Comment vous aurez un impact

- Collaborer avec des équipes interfonctionnelles pour renforcer les pratiques d’amélioration continue à l’échelle de l’entreprise.

- Orienter l’identification et l’exécution de projets Lean qui améliorent le rendement à l’échelle de l’usine.

- Organiser et animer des événements kaizen qui appuient l’augmentation de la capacité et les améliorations opérationnelles.

- Mener des études de travail et soutenir la conception de nouveaux équipements, de nouveaux flux de travail ou de nouveaux aménagements de l’usine.

- Offrir de l’encadrement et de la formation pour aider les équipes à adopter les outils et les meilleures pratiques Lean.

- Encourager la sensibilisation et la participation à l’amélioration continue à tous les niveaux du site.

- Soutenir les projets de transformation qui renforcent la capacité de l’usine à atteindre les objectifs de production.

- Aider les équipes à adopter des pratiques de gestion des technologies de l’information harmonisées aux activités mondiales des transformateurs.

- Veiller au respect des règlements, procédures et lignes directrices externes et internes applicables.


Votre parcours

- Le candidat doit déjà avoir une autorisation de travail qui lui permettrait de travailler pour Hitachi Energy au Canada.

- Baccalauréat en génie industriel ou dans un domaine équivalent.

- De 8 à 10 ans d’expérience en fabrication ou en exploitation.

- Formation Ceinture verte Six Sigma ou certification équivalente.

- Aisance à travailler de façon autonome et en collaboration, et capacité à coordonner des priorités et des échéances concurrentes.

- Capacité à travailler dans un environnement au rythme rapide, à concilier plusieurs tâches avec un sentiment d’urgence.

- Excellentes compétences en communication et en animation, et capacité de travailler avec des gens à tous les niveaux.

- Motivation à encadrer, former et soutenir les équipes, et capacité éprouvée à favoriser le progrès et l’amélioration continue.

- Capacité à orienter le changement et à influencer les équipes sans autorité directe.

The Opportunity


- 3 positions to fill*

As part of Hitachi Energy’s power transformer operations, you will help steer the Lean transformation of the Varennes facility during a pivotal moment of growth. Demand for reliable, high‑performance electrical infrastructure continues to rise, and Hitachi Energy is expanding its Varennes site to double production capacity for high‑power transformers. In this role, you will guide the adoption of the Integrated Transformer Management (ITM) system—a key framework that defines the tools, practices, and ways of working that fuel breakthrough operational results across our global transformer business.

You will collaborate closely with multi‑disciplinary teams to enable projects supporting capacity expansion and performance improvement. This is a chance to shape how the plant designs its workflows, equipment, and layout, while helping people at all levels strengthen a continuous improvement mindset. Your work will contribute directly to reliability, quality, and operational excellence within the power grid supply chain, while giving you meaningful opportunities to grow your influence in Lean practices and transformation initiatives.

How You’ll Make An Impact

- Partner with cross‑functional teams to reinforce continuous improvement practices throughout the organization.

- Steer the identification and delivery of Lean projects that enhance performance across the plant.

- Run and facilitate kaizen events that support capacity expansion and operational improvements.

- Conduct work studies and support the design of new equipment, workflows, or plant area layouts.

- Provide coaching and training that help teams adopt Lean tools and best practices.

- Encourage awareness and engagement in continuous improvement across all levels of the site.

- Support transformation projects that strengthen the plant’s ability to meet production targets.

- Help teams adopt consistent ITM practices aligned with the global transformers business.

- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.


Your Background

- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in Canada.

- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or an equivalent field.

- 8–10 years of experience in manufacturing or operations.

- Green Belt Six Sigma training or equivalent certification.

- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively, with the ability to coordinate competing priorities and deadlines.

- Able to work in a fast‑paced environment, balancing multiple tasks with a sense of urgency.

- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to work with people at all levels.

- Motivated to coach, train, and support teams, with a proven ability to encourage progress and continuous improvement.

- Skilled at guiding change and influencing teams without direct authority.

- Bilingual : French English
