Spanish Speaking Sales Associate

Sales Associate: $50k – 70k

Growing, family-owned business in search of a Spanish speaking Sales Associate. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the building supply industry; ideally with roofing, sheet metal and / or rain goods, however this is not strictly necessary. The ability to interact with customers, maintain several projects at the same time, learn and retain product information and handle point-of-sale transactions is needed for success in this role.

Salaried position. The right candidate will start with 10 days of paid vacation in addition to 13 days of observed company holidays. We offer competitive pay within a small business environment. Healthcare benefits after 60 days of employment.

Established in 1976, we are a small business in the building material sector focused on manufacturing, wholesaling, and distributing architectural metals. Located near I-25 and Broadway, we have deep industry knowledge and a loyal customer base.

Desired characteristics:

1. Fluency in Spanish necessary

2. Strong interpersonal communication skills

3. Organizational skills

4. Attention to detail

5. Knowledge of roofing industry and / or the ability to learn quickly

6. Comfortable with math calculations

7. Experience working in ERP software

8. Desire to regularly work 45 hour weeks

9. Must be able to pass both drug and criminal background screens

Primary job activities:

1. Work at sales desk to support product information questions as well as receive and process customer orders

2. Answer inbound phone calls

3. NO COLD CALLING OR OUTBOUND SALES CALLS REQUIRED

4. NO TRAVEL REQUIRED

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
