Performs a wide variety of tasks in support of the production, purchasing, lab, and maintenance departments. The general requirements include preparing all product shipments, shipping documents, and receiving incoming materials and supplies.
· Responsible for performing job duties in a safe and conscientious manner, following all procedures, programs, and policies established for specific departments and calling attention to any unsafe acts observed in the work of others.
· Receives incoming materials and supplies, checking for accuracy including weighing materials and counting supplies and delivering them to proper departments.
· Prepares for shipment and ships product according to the appropriate sales order and part print including preparing bill of lading and shipping labels
· Pack and secure product to skids to ensure product does not get damaged in route to the customer.
· Schedule outgoing shipments with shipping companies and confirm product against BOL
· Operates forklift and company truck in performance of the job.
· Load and unload trucks in a safe manner.
· Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task.
· Follow all company, quality, and safety policies.
· Assist with weekly inventory counts for shipping and production.
· Must be a strong team player and reliable.
· Work in a fast-paced environment with fast-changing priorities
· Uphold all ISO and OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities above.
· Have the ability to prioritize and adjust daily duties.
· Driver’s License and good driving record are required.
· Good math and communication skills are required.
· Proficient computer knowledge including specific software knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and inventory management.
2. 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
