Senior Project Management Consultant

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Management Consultant to support outage, overhaul, and maintenance projects across power-generation facilities. This role serves as an Owner’s Representative in the field, coordinating contractor execution, ensuring safety and quality standards, and supporting project planning and schedule performance.

This position requires significant field presence, travel to project sites, and the ability to work extended outage schedules.

Responsibilities

- Support and oversee contractor activities during outage and maintenance execution

- Monitor project schedule, productivity, safety performance, and work quality

- Lead site walkdowns and verify completion against scope and technical requirements

- Coordinate with site leadership, vendors, and maintenance teams

- Support budgeting, scope control, and progress reporting

- Reinforce safety procedures and compliance expectations

- Participate in pre-bid, pre-construction, and status review meetings

Qualifications

- 10+ years’ experience in power generation, construction, or outage project work

- Strong field coordination and contractor oversight background

- Experience in one of the following areas (required):

Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation & Controls (I&C)

- Ability to work extended outage schedules and travel to project sites

- Bachelor’s degree preferred

- PMP a plus

Work & Physical Requirements

- Ability to climb turbines and access confined areas (e.g., boiler spaces)

- Ability to wear respiratory protection and full industrial PPE

- Willingness to travel frequently and work extended outage schedules

- Ability to complete site safety and clearance training (LOTO / equivalent)

Compensation & Travel

- Competitive hourly rate (based on experience)

- Per diem available for qualifying travel assignments

- Long-term contract opportunity with consistent project workload

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $85.00 - $90.00 per hour
