This position will help design, build, optimize and scale Helion's high volume Capacitor Bank manufacturing Facility. The role will work cross functionally with Manufacturing, Design, Controls, Quality and Supply Chain to remove waste optimize layout and support a rapid production ramp. This role will report to our Factory Development Manager at our Everett, WA office.
- Lead the development of factory layouts for new manufacturing lines, major expansions, and system reconfigurations to maximize efficiency and scalability
- Design and optimize production lines, workstations, and material flow strategies to support high-volume, high-performance manufacturing
- Own and maintain the factory commissioning schedule, ensuring alignment with production milestones
- Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, production, design, facilities, and materials teams to bring factory designs and expansion projects from concept to reality
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, drive continuous improvement, and enhance throughput and operational performance
- Optimize end-to-end material flow using Just-In-Time production principles to improve manufacturing efficiency, reduce waste, and maximize factory floor space
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in high-volume manufacturing (automotive, aerospace, electronics, or similar)- Experience in 2D/3D layout design, factory and production line layouts
- Proficiency with data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Python, or similar)
