We are seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer with 10 years of experience specializing in metal forming, spring winding, and packaging as a technical leader who bridges high-precision fabrication with automated end-of-line systems. This role oversees the entire product lifecycle, ensuring that specialized components are manufactured efficiently and packaged securely for shipment.
- Design and optimize advanced processes for metal forming and CNC spring winding (compression, extension, and torsion)
- Integrate and validate automated packaging systems, including bulk container filling, individual part protection, and labeling to prevent damage to precision springs.
- Manage multi-phase capital equipment projects, including the specification, RFQ, and commissioning of new winding and packaging lines.
- Lead Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Packaging reviews to reduce material waste and optimize shipping density.
- Use Six Sigma and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to solve complex defects in both part formation (e.g., set loss) and packaging failures.
- Design complex layouts for equipment and workspace using AutoCAD or SolidWorks to optimize material flow and space requirements.
- Act as the technical authority, training junior engineers and operators on equipment setup, material science, and automation troubleshooting.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $100,000 - $130,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. This role is bonus/and or incentive eligible.
