This is a full-time hybrid role based in Nisku, AB, with flexibility for partial work-from-home arrangements. As a Select Tradesperson with TURBINE-X Energy Inc., you will work hands-on with turbine and reciprocating engine-driven power systems. Day-to-day tasks include performing equipment installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. You will collaborate closely with our engineering teams and field experts to implement customized solutions, ensuring optimal performance and reliability across diverse power systems. Additional responsibilities involve adhering to safety standards, preparing detailed reports, and contributing to innovative problem-solving.
- Knowledge and expertise in turbine systems, reciprocating engines, and rotating equipment
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of industrial power systems
- Strong understanding of safety standards, engineering drawings, and technical documentation
- Ability to collaborate with engineering and field service teams to design and implement solutions
- Basic knowledge of new ESG technologies and their application in power systems is an advantage
- Excellent time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Relevant trade certification or technical training in energy systems or rotating equipment
- Previous industry experience and the ability to adapt to hybrid work environments
