Sanitation Worker (Independent Contractor Role)

Exciting Opportunity for a Sanitation Worker within a large aluminum extrusion manufacturing plant! Sanitation Workers perform a range of internal housekeeping duties, ensuring the plant remains clean, functional, and safe. They support waste segregation, and workspace cleaning under the direction of the department supervisor.

Duties:

Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Maintain the cleanliness of the main office and production offices

- Regular sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting of the lobby, office areas, break/lunchrooms, hallways, and other common areas

- Thoroughly clean and sanitize washrooms, including sinks, toilets, urinals, and mirrors, ensuring toilet paper is stocked and hand soap is replenished

- Clean kitchens and break/lunchrooms, including countertops, sinks, microwaves, refrigerators, tables, cabinets, chairs, and other surfaces

- Spot clean mirrors, windows, door handles, light fixtures

- Empty wastebins and inset new liners

- Monitor inventory and replenish cleaning products and sanitation supplies as necessary

- Follow WHMIS (GHS) by adhering to the SDS according to the products being used

- Adhere to all workplace safety, cleanliness, and sanitation protocols.

- Thoroughly clean and disinfect restrooms and locker room showers, including toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, floors, partitions, and walls.

What you get:
