Construction Sewer Laborer

We are currently seeking Construction Sewer Laborers to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. As a Construction Sewer Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting Vactor/CCTV inspection operators with underground sewer and wastewater inspections, as well as setting up at the job site and supporting them throughout the project, which may include driving a support vehicle with equipment. This position requires working with minimal oversite while still adhering to instructions closely.

We are currently offering a limited-time sign-on bonus of $4,000 for new hires with a valid CDL license, and sign-on bonuses for new hires without a current CDL license are also available at a reduced amount. New employees who meet the criteria outlined in our sign-on bonus program will be eligible for the full payout.

What You’ll Do:

- Assist the Vactor / CCTV inspection operators with setup and provide support throughout the job

- Drive support vehicles (pickup trucks) with equipment

- Provide support and work in and around sewer and storm drains

- Monitor gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure equipment is working properly

- Learn / train on Insituform’s products, processes, safety procedures, installation techniques, and equipment

- Perform set up and clean up tasks at job site / shop

What We Need From You:

- High School diploma or equivalent preferred

- Experience as a Construction or Field Laborer, preferably in the sewage or wastewater industry

- Valid driver’s license required with a clean motor vehicle report

- Must have strong communication skills, be reliable, and be a team player

- Ability to lift / move up to 75 pounds and use pneumatic, battery-powered, or electric tools

- Comfortable working in and around sewer and storm drains

- Comfortable working outside at job sites with moving vehicles and mechanical operations, with occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles

- Must be able to travel weekly (potentially out of state)
