Job Description:
UES is seeking a highly skilled
Salesforce Field Service Lightning (FSL) expert
to lead the configuration, optimization, and ongoing enhancement of our Field Service Lightning platform. This role is essential to ensuring the efficiency and scalability of field operations that support our utility clients and internal program teams.
The successful candidate will have deep knowledge of FSL and proven hands-on experience designing, configuring, and maintaining scalable service operations within the Salesforce FSL and FSL mobile app ecosystem.
This individual will be responsible for enabling operational scalability, driving platform improvements, and ensuring Salesforce continues to evolve to meet the needs of diverse internal stakeholders and programs.
Advanced Field Service Accredited Professional credential strongly preferred.Key Responsibilities
•Own the end-to-end configuration and optimization of Salesforce Field Service Lightning (FSL)
, including service appointments, work orders, dispatcher console, route optimization, work plans, scheduling policies, and mobile capabilities.
•Design and deploy scalable FSL solutions that meet evolving business needs in a fast-paced, startup-style environment
•Independently manage FSL mobile app configurations, including offline access, custom flows, screen visibility rules, and technician experience enhancements.
•Build and maintain Experience Cloud portals with public-facing appointment self-scheduling and service request flows tailored to field service operations.
•Drive platform configuration and automation using Flows, dynamic forms, page layouts, record types, dashboards, and approval processes.
•Ensure data quality and integrity through validation rules, duplicate prevention, and data management tools like Data Loader.
•Lead and coordinate deployments using sandboxes, change sets, and version control tools, ensuring smooth rollouts in a lean, agile environment.
•Respond to user feedback and support requests with urgency and ownership, triaging FSL-related issues and delivering timely, effective solutions.
•Collaborate cross-functionally and independently to gather requirements, translate them into actionable user stories, and deliver high-impact FSL features.
•Participate in Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and manage Jira tasks with accountability and transparency.
•Create and maintain clear documentation for FSL configurations, training materials, and release notes to support adoption and scalability.
•Deliver hands-on training and support to field teams and internal users, ensuring high adoption and satisfaction with FSL tools.
•Continuously monitor platform performance and user adoption, proactively identifying opportunities for automation, optimization, and innovation.
•Stay ahead of the curve on Salesforce and FSL releases, evaluating and implementing new features that drive value for field operations.
Experience Required
:
•Bachelor’s Degree required.
•Salesforce Administrator Certification
•Salesforce Field Service Consultant Certification
•6+ years of experience in a Salesforce Administrator or related role.
•Minimum 1 year of direct experience with Salesforce Field Service Lightning (FSL), including implementation and ongoing administration.
•Experience developing and maintaining
Experience Cloud portals
, particularly those incorporating scheduling and customer self-service functionality.
•Experience configuring and deploying
Salesforce mobile apps
, including Field Service Mobile configurations and offline-first capabilities.
•Proficiency in Agile team environments using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
•Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
