We own and operate 30 large wind, solar, and energy storage projects across the United States, totaling over 3 gigawatts (GW) of generating capacity.
LRE has an ambitious goal of 10GW of operating assets by 2028 and are developing and contracting an increasing pipeline of new projects every year. Job Summary:
As the SharePoint Applications Lead, you will be the point person for all SharePoint projects. This includes leading the SharePoint team in the analysis, design, development, and deployment of SharePoint solutions. Examples of these solutions may include enterprise content management, client-facing portals, custom business process workflows, and business intelligence dashboards.
Responsibilities:•Primary architect for all custom SharePoint solutions. This includes working with all levels of business both verbally and in writing to determine business needs and how to address them with SharePoint.
•Lead the complete software development lifecycle for SharePoint solutions, including analysis, design, configuring, programming, and testing.
•Educate developers on best practices for developing custom SharePoint solutions.
•Provide expertise and support to business managers and other members of IT to determine how to best implement, support, and use SharePoint solutions.
•Participate in SharePoint infrastructure projects.
•Determine when SharePoint is not the right solution for a business problem and communicate this effectively to business leaders.
•Conduct research on emerging SharePoint development tools and strategies.
•Assist with customization tasks, such as using SharePoint Designer to modify look-and-feel.
•Continually strive to improve the efficiency and usability of our SharePoint solutions, leveraging your ongoing research and understanding of business needs.
•Provide expertise and support to end users and other members of the IT support team.
•Recommend, schedule, and perform software improvements and upgrades.
•College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science or software engineering, and/or 8 years equivalent work experience.
•Certifications in Microsoft SharePoint Administration.
•Experience working with SharePoint as an administrator, designer, or developer.
•Expert in SharePoint 2016 or more recent implementations.
•Experience leading a software development team.
•Experience analyzing and documenting business processes.
•Experience in .NET development.
•Experience in SQL Server or equivalent databases.
•Experience in Web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
•Experience with Microsoft IIS/Windows, or equivalent server platforms.
•College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science or software engineering, and/or 8 years equivalent work experience.
•Certifications in Microsoft SharePoint Administration.
•Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
•Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
•Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills.
•Skilled at working within a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
•On-call availability for minimum of 10 days per month
•Ability to present ideas and solutions in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
•Highly self-motivated and self-directed.
Physical Demands:
•Hybrid work environment, after an onboarding period, with minimum of 3- day onsite work week
•Sitting/standing for extended periods of time
