Enbridge is hiring a Sales Specialist/Coordinator right now—when you apply, Raise will review your application within 48 hours and contact qualified applicants for interviews.


About the Role

The Sales Specialist/Coordinator engages and supports customers in areas targeted for community expansion as it relates to natural gas sales and service attachments. Key activities include:

- Advocating for the use of natural gas,

- Conveying business cases

- Reviewing the attachment process

- Investigate service applications status

- Other general questions that may arise.

- Problem solve and initiate solutions.

- Interpret and apply company policy/procedures.


Key Responsibilities:


Customer Engagement & Outreach

- Conduct door‑to‑door canvassing, cold calls, and participate in storefront events (in person and virtual).

- Respond to customer inquiries via the CE email mailbox and voicemail with accurate and tailored information.

- Contact customers who have expressed interest in natural gas to guide them through the attachment journey.

- Follow up on customer concerns, questions, and escalations to support attachment conversions.

- Call customers with installed services that are not yet activated (e.g., meter not spinning, LUG lines without meters).

- Support marketing and engagement activities, including representing Enbridge at external events and assisting with presentations.


Data Management & Reporting

- Develop, maintain, and update community spreadsheets.

- Update ArcGIS with customer information, interactions, and GetConnected application data.

- Update weekly tracking sheets (customer contacts and responses).

- Manage application tracking sheets for construction and handed-over projects.

- Investigate discrepancies in PowerBI and support data accuracy improvements.

- Assist with attachment reports, including data entry, metric tracking, and issues documentation.

- Update dashboards and present metrics for strategic analysis.


Process Support & Administration

- Complete SAP tables for new communities according to scope.

- Confirm polygons/titles in CCWS and follow up on discrepancies.

- Prepare information for kickoff emails and handover presentations.

- Compile customer contact lists for direct mail campaigns.

- Create walking lists for door‑to‑door outreach.

- Investigate stagnant applications (e.g., awaiting validation) and provide support.

- Assist HVAC partners with GetConnected training as required.

- Review and create customer messaging based on business needs.

- Organize kiosk locations (when applicable).

- Maintain and update internal spreadsheets (POs, project numbers, MRUs, etc.).

- Document key tasks for team reference (e.g., community search lists in GetConnected).

- Assess cancelled applications and determine follow‑up requirements.

- Review CCWS inquiries and update responses, ArcGIS, and spreadsheets where applicable.

- Track and document customer complaints and resolutions for O.E.B. interrogatories.

- Assess new construction developments within assigned communities.

- Complete work related to Meter Reading Units.


Qualifications:


Must Have:

- Post‑secondary degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.

- 2–4 years of successful B2C and/or B2B sales experience.

- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel (data management & analysis).

- Proven ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships.

- Strong sales and customer relationship management skills.

- Strategic thinking and business analysis capabilities.

- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and stay highly organized.

- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

- Commitment to safety, integrity, respect, and inclusion.

- Strong results orientation and ability to balance competing work demands.

- Self‑motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.


Nice to Have:

- Experience with Maximo, e‑GIS, GetConnected, and CCWS.

- Knowledge of natural gas uses in residential and commercial settings.

- Understanding of energy conversion from alternative sources to natural gas.

- Ability to articulate natural gas value propositions and appliance options.

- Strong problem‑solving mindset.

- Familiarity with the energy market.

- Understanding of utility systems, natural gas operations, and related processes.


Working Conditions:

- Role involves a combination of office and field work.

- Frequent travel is required, including evenings and weekends (primarily within Ontario).

- Valid Ontario G‑class driver’s license and a responsible driving record are required.
