Cactus Christmas Lights is Arizona’s premier holiday lighting company, serving high-end residential and commercial clients in Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, and Phoenix. We create custom, turn-key lighting displays that turn luxury homes into holiday showpieces.

We’re looking for a seasoned, confident sales professional with experience closing high-ticket, in-person deals. If you’re someone who thrives in face-to-face sales, can connect with high-net-worth clients, and wants to sell a service with true wow-factor, this is a rare opportunity.

Our clients include Fortune 100 executives, professional athletes, and luxury homeowners - people who expect white-glove service and don’t blink at a $10k+ lighting package when it’s done right. You’ll act as the face of our brand, owning the client relationship from initial contact through signed proposal.

What to expect selling a SEASONAL service:

This position begins part-time during the off-season (May-September), focusing on self-generated commercial and municipal opportunities. These contracts have high upside - a single sale could generate $5,000 or more in commission.

In October and November, the role shifts to full-time, with warm residential leads provided through our paid marketing efforts. At that pace, a strong closer could earn ~$10,000 per month in commission. With the Valley’s fast‑growing population and concentration of affluent homeowners, your earning potential is essentially uncapped - how much you sell, and therefore earn, will come down to your own skill, hustle, and closing ability.

What You’ll Do

•

Conduct on-site consultations to walk properties and discuss holiday lighting goals

•

Build trust with high-end clients and present tailored design proposals

•

Create quotes using our structured pricing system and close the deal

•

Close the sale and secure a deposit to schedule the install

Who You Are

•

Confident, polished, and experienced in in-person sales

•

We’re not looking for pushy or high-pressure tactics - this is a relationship-based sale. Our ideal candidate knows how to earn trust, read the room, and guide high-end clients through a premium buying experience.

•

Skilled at building relationships and earning trust quickly.

•

Comfortable working with luxury clientele, large estates, and commercial sites.

•

Sales background in home services, luxury design, solar, or real estate is a plus.

•

Willing to meet clients on their schedule. Able to drive around Scottsdale/Phoenix for consultations (reliable car and driver’s license required). You manage your own time responsibly to meet targets.

You set high goals for yourself and thrive on commission – the idea of “the more you sell, the more you earn” genuinely excites you. You’re not afraid to put in the effort to reap big rewards.

Resourceful and proactive. You take initiative to follow up with leads, and you don’t need a manager micromanaging you. You’re organized with your time and can juggle multiple deals in various stages.

We’ll train you on everything you need to know about our service, pricing, and process - but we can’t teach you how to sell. You need to come in with real sales experience and the confidence to close.

Schedule

•

You'll work independently, choosing your own schedule and hours while taking full ownership of your success.

•

From May to September: Proactively generate your own leads (primarily commercial and municipal). This period is also your opportunity to get fully trained, learn about our services, and build the skills needed to succeed before peak season hits.

From October to December: Our paid marketing will supply you with a steady stream of inbound warm leads, so you'll never worry about volume.

•

November is our busiest time of year, with fast-paced days and a constant flow of leads. You'll be moving quickly from one high-value opportunity to the next, ideal for those who thrive under pressure and want to maximize their earnings.

Compensation & Opportunity

•

6-8% commission on warm leads we provide (Oct - Dec)

•

10% commission on self-generated/cold leads (May - Sept)

•

Average residential contract: ~$2,000

•

Commercial and municipal contracts: ~$3,000 - $100,000+

•
