Our sales team / account managers are the hunters of the organization that keeps the pack fed. They are critical to our company’s purpose of keeping our installers fed with a solid backlog of work. While we have consistent leads/ITB’s due to our reputation, we need to maximize our close rate on all opportunities, while pursuing and cultivating new opportunities. In this role, you will work closely with GC’s, engineers, developers, and our internal pre-con and ops teams to optimize pricing and close contracts.
In this position you will focus on local, commercial projects, as well as smaller commercial projects nationwide.
- Manage and close incoming ITB’s, investigating GC and Client priorities to find creative solutions that play into company favor, and working to solve the client problems and creating relationships.
- Evaluate plans and work with internal precon/estimating and Ops to optimize pricing strategy.
- Find creative solutions to make your proposal standout and get the last look.
- Ongoing service after the sale, internally to transition to Ops, and with client.
- Discovery of opportunities: Research trends, segments, potential new markets, and relationships that have revenue potential
- Know our clients and potential clients (prospects): establish yourself as “Their fence person.”
- Create new business connections, opening doors for new business as well as maintain and grow existing business
- Communicate: be a steward of excellent, clear, and consistent communication from bid announcement to award.

- Work Environment and physical demands: The work environment includes offices, sometimes construction sites, and yards—both indoor and outdoor environments. Physical demands include walking, lifting, bending, climbing, and crouching.
