Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our solar energy sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing and mentoring a team of solar sales representatives, and developing strategies to expand our customer base. The ideal candidate has a strong background in renewable energy sales, a proven ability to lead high-performing teams, and a passion for promoting sustainable energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
•Recruit, train, and manage a team of solar sales representatives.
•Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company growth targets.
•Set sales goals, monitor team performance, and provide coaching to ensure individual and team success.
•Oversee lead generation and conversion processes, ensuring high-quality customer interactions.
•Collaborate with marketing and operations to align efforts and optimize customer experience.
•Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and challenges.
•Ensure compliance with all industry regulations and company policies during the sales process.
•Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management.
•Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
Requirements:
3–5+ years of sales experience in the solar or renewable energy industry, including 1–2 years in a leadership role.
Deep understanding of solar energy products, financing options, and regulatory environment.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
Ability to travel as needed.
