Basic Job Functions:

The Vulcraft Indiana is seeking qualified candidates for an ESTIMATOR in the Dayton sales territory. This person will in the Fairborn, Ohio sales office. Compensation consists of base wage plus commission.

- Build strong, durable, loyal relationships with customers and teammates

- Effectively consult, articulate Vulcraft’s value, and sell strategically

- Gather market intelligence & execute the division, VVG, and Nucor strategy

- Accurately and quickly estimate joist and deck requirements from contract documents and price projects when necessary

- Ensure the highest standards of service are maintained through professional, informative, and responsive communications (written and verbal) with our internal and external customers

- Must be willing and have means to travel

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

- 1 to 2 years’ experience interpreting structural contract drawings

- Personal computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in related field

- Experience in sales and/or customer service

- Experience with digital takeoff software

- Experience with SAP
