Sales Coordinator

Position: Sales Coordinator

Reports to: Customer Service Manager

Location: Suburban, Dayton, TN

Department: Sales & Service

Position Overview: Work as the liaison between salesmen/scheduling/shipping/customer service with the goal of no backorders – Deliver In-Full and On-Time (DIFOT).

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate with scheduling & shipping to DIFOT then proactively communicate to customer service

- Monthly forecasting of units & dollars with National Sales Manager and GM to provide to scheduling department

- Learn Sales Force and work with sales team on updating the Suburban piece

- Communication with sales team on daily issues, problems, expectations

- Communication with sales team on forecast changes including new business, lost business, plant shutdowns, etc. to update forecasting, scheduling, etc.

- Fill in as backup in Customer Service when needed.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Coordinate and manage International orders

- Maintain pricing and quotes

- Back up support for Customer Service Manager

Education, Experience, & Skills:

- Education – Associate’s degree or higher

- Minimum experience in sales and/or customer service of 7 years

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to set priorities in an efficient manner and optimize time and resources to achieve desired results

- Ability to adapt to change

- Excel proficient

Position type and Expected Hours of Work:

- This is a full-time position on a 4-10 hour work schedule (Mon-Thurs). Due to the nature and demands of this role, flexibility is required to work outside of normal work schedule.

- This is an on-site, full-time position.
