Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and mechanically minded Inside Sales Coordinator to join our team at a custom damper fabrication company. This role is pivotal in supporting our sales operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining organized and accurate sales records. The ideal candidate will have a background in manufacturing or purchasing and be capable of matching our specialized damper products to customer applications.

Key Responsibilities

·       - Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound customer inquiries. (No cold calling)

·       - Provide technical assistance and product recommendations based on customer needs.

·       - Ensure timely and professional communication with clients throughout the sales cycle.

·       - Maintain and update Salesforce CRM with accurate customer and sales data.

·       - Organize and manage quote files, ensuring easy access and version control.

·       - Assist in preparing and sending quotes, proposals, and order confirmations.

·       - Understand the mechanical aspects of our damper products.

·       - Match product offerings to customer applications and specifications, including automation systems and integration.

·       - Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure feasibility and accuracy.

·       - Track and follow up on open quotes and sales opportunities.

·       - Support the sales team with documentation, scheduling, and coordination.

Qualifications

·       - Proven experience in inside sales, customer service, or sales coordination.

·       - Background in manufacturing, mechanical systems, or purchasing is highly desirable.

·       - Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.

·       - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

·       - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·       - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or specifications is a plus.

·       - Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

·       - Familiarity with automation systems or industrial valves.

·       - Experience working in a custom fabrication or engineered-to-order environment.

·       - Basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
