We are seeking a highly experienced
Senior SailPoint IdentityIQ Engineerto design, implement, and support enterprise-scale Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions in a complex federal environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on IAM professional who excels at translating business and security requirements into scalable SailPoint solutions, while collaborating closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
You will play a critical role in enhancing identity governance, improving security posture, and supporting mission-critical systems through the full software development lifecycle (SDLC). - Design, implement, and support
SailPoint IdentityIQ
solutions across enterprise environments
- Lead IAM strategy, architecture, integration, and operational support efforts
- Develop, test, debug, document, and maintain secure, scalable applications
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather and implement IAM requirements
- Perform code reviews, technical design reviews, and contribute to development best practices
- Analyze and remediate security vulnerabilities, Section 508 compliance issues, performance, and UX concerns
- Support end-to-end deployments, production support, and system enhancements
- Troubleshoot application and client/server connectivity issues
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for IAM solutions, tools, and business processes
- Apply technical judgment to resolve complex IAM and system-level challenges
- Proactively identify future IAM needs and recommend improvements
- Stay current with emerging IAM technologies, tools, and best practices
- U.S. Citizenship (required for federal clearance eligibility)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 6+ yearsof hands-on experience designing and implementing
enterprise IAM solutions
- Deep expertise in
SailPoint IdentityIQ
(design, configuration, integration, and operations)
- Strong understanding of
IAM principles
, identity governance, and access controls
- Experience developing and supporting
cloud-based and web-based applications
- Proficiency with one or more programming or scripting languages
- Experience working within the
SDLC
and following established development standards
- Ability to obtain and maintain a
Federal Public Trust clearance
(active clearance preferred)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Knowledge of
FICAM
and federal IAM policies (NIST 800-63-3, OMB M-19-17, HSPD-12)
- Experience with
AWS or Azure
cloud services
- Familiarity with
DevSecOps
tools, CI/CD pipelines, and automation practices
- Broad understanding of enterprise IT systems and security architecture
- Proven ability to contribute to process improvements and technical standards
- Strong analytical mindset with a passion for continuous learning
