The primary focus of this position will be to investigate and provide support to SSI Unit activities regarding subsurface incidents related to the functions of the Technical Permitting section, especially injection well permits (e.g., well blowouts, surface flows, sinkholes). The Geographic Information Specialist IV will be required to perform highly complex tasks related to generating spatial investigative data and analysis using ArcGIS Pro and other platforms. Major responsibilities include developing and automating data links to RRC databases, data management and maintenance, development and customization of data management utilizing ArcGIS Pro tools, technical support, data integration, compliance and reporting.
