Rotational Wastewater Technician

Flowmax Waste Management Solutions Ltd is a privately owned and operated company providing mobile wastewater treatment and sewer containment services to camp, drilling rigs, and other remote locations. Through teamwork, safety, integrity, and unmatched enthusiasm for all things wastewater, Flowmax continues to expand across Western Canada. We are currently seeking full-time Wastewater Technicians for our winter projects in Northern Alberta. Applicants must be available to work a rotational 21/7 schedule.

Responsibilities Include:

- Servicing of Wastewater Treatment and Hold and Haul units, hoses, and lift stations in the yard and in the field in compliance with service checklists and company procedures.

- Spotting, connecting, and testing equipment prior to use

- Rigging up sewer bags in the field

- Rigging up sewage lift stations, hoses, PVC pipe

- Troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing any items found to be deficient

- Ensuring all Wastewater equipment is cleaned

- Demonstrating a positive attitude towards safety

- Other duties as required

The desirable candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot and repair problems with motors, electrical devices, pumps, and heat trace

- Ability to problem solve and find outside the box solutions in adverse conditions

- Willing and able to work in a team setting and to help wherever needed

- Self-motivated, high attention to detail and safety conscious

- Experience in any trade is considered an asset

- Experience working on equipment is considered an asset

- Desire and ability to perform physical requirements of the job in demanding conditions

- Previous experience driving in a mining/ oilfield environment
