Rope Access Technician - Industrial

Position Summary:

Tacten is currently seeking IRATA Level 1 Technicians to support projects in the Atlantic Region (St. John’s and surrounding areas). This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic industrial environment with strong opportunities for hands-on experience, growth, and skill development.

This is project-based work starting in mid-April 2026 and extending through August 2026.

Responsibilities:

- Assisting with a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks at height

- Proficient in using various tools and techniques while suspended on ropes

- Assisting with rescue services when required

- Work within a composite crew and assist Journeyman with various tasks

- Coordinate with other personnel on the job site to ensure a safe working environment for themselves and others

Requirements:

Certifications & Qualifications

- IRATA Level 1 Certification

- Skilled Labourer Ticket considered an asset

- Safety certifications as required by client and provincial standards

Additional Requirements

- Valid driver’s license

- Must be local to St. John’s and surrounding area
