Rope Access Level 3 Technicians - Spring Outage 2026

Position Summary:

Tacten is seeking Rope Access Level 3 Technicians to join our team for both day and night shifts for our Spring Outage in the Fort McMurray area. As a Rope Technician, you will be a key member of our team responsible for executing high-altitude tasks with precision, efficiency, and safety.

Position Information:

- Spring Outage

- Outage duration: April 10th, 2026 - May 15th, 2026

- 6/1 rotation, 12-hour shifts

- Day and night shifts available

- Fly-in-fly-out from all major hubs in Canada

- Camp provided

Responsibilities:

- Have a comprehensive knowledge of advanced rescue techniques

- Be able to demonstrate all the skills and knowledge required of a Level III Rope Access Technician

- Be conversant with relevant work techniques

- Assist other technicians as required

- Perform specific job functions as they relate to work orders

- Ensure operational safety of all equipment

Requirements:

- IRATA Level 3 Certification

- Journeyman ticketed would be an asset

- 1st Aid Certification

- CSO or BSO or CSTS-2020

- ESC or OSSA Confined Space Monitor and Entry

- Strong work ethics

- Ability to maintain positive working relations with clients

- Exceptional safety and quality awareness

- Ability to solve problems and manage time effectively

- Self-motivated and capable of working at a high technical and performance level
