The Role
The Revenue Operations Specialist works cross-functionally with various teams to optimize business processes and ensure efficient workflow. The Revenue Operations Specialist is based in the Sales & Marketing division and supports the delivery of revenue-generating initiatives.
Role responsibilities and key tasks
•Help to optimize the functioning of revenue teams by suggesting process improvements and enforcing existing processes;
•Develop a deep understanding of Bright Power business systems, such as Salesforce, MS Office, Slack, and how to further leverage them for efficient workflow;
•Build and maintain reporting and analytics and perform regular data analysis in collaboration with team leadership;
•Promote transparent documentation and record-keeping;
•Support team enablement with training support and the development of training resources
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
•Partner with other teams (Finance, IT, Professional Services) to streamline business processes and ensure seamless communications and documentation between divisions
•Assist in special projects and process improvements as needed in collaboration with the leadership team
•Coordinate with a variety of internal stakeholders to promote data integrity and data management
Data Analytics & Reporting:
•Dashboard Creation: Build and maintain dashboards to track business metrics and team KPIs
•Data Analysis: Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and areas of improvement. Leverage data to support decision-making and provide actionable recommendations.
•Advanced Reporting: Create complex formulas, pivot tables, and automated reports to streamline revenue processes and improve efficiency.
Process Management:
•Process alignment: Coordinate business process development projects and the implementation of revenue team projects
•Process efficiency: Find opportunities for efficiency and workflow optimization
•Optimization: Help optimize the functioning of business teams by suggesting process improvements and enforcing existing processes
Desired Skills and Experience:
•Bachelor’s degree preferred
•Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PPT, Word, etc.). Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management Systems (CRM) and marketing automation systems (i.e. Account Engagement)
•Hands-on experience with Salesforce
•Tech savvy with demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to IT systems, including Salesforce, Slack
•Excellent organizational skills
•Exceptional verbal and written communication skills - ability to communicate effectively and professionally with staff, clients, investors, etc.
•Ability to collaborate effectively with other team members
•Excellent time management skills and the ability to develop and implement a list of priorities
•Careful attention to detail and ability to multi-task, even under pressure.
•Proven ability to take initiative and proactively manage projects and tasks
•Sound judgment, discretion, and confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications:
•Completed coursework or certification in Business Analysis
•Knowledge and prior use of Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Marketing Cloud
•Proficiency with Tableau or Google Data Studio
•Advanced Excel knowledge
Salary: $85,000 - $88,000
