About This Job

Shamrock Roofing & Construction is a family-owned roofing and construction company headquartered in Kansas City and has been operating since 1977. In the last few years, our business has exploded in the Midwest with additional locations in Nebraska, Iowa, Oklahoma, Texas, and now Arkansas.

We are expanding in our Customer Care Team, and are now looking to fill a Remote Customer Care Specialist position.

Job Description:

•

Take incoming calls from current and/or potential customers and deliver important updates and communication throughout the course of their roofing claims or repairs.

•

Take incoming calls and assist everyone to the best of your ability, logging everything for the team to follow up the next morning.

•

Serve as Shamrock’s professional representative when dealing with customer communications: via phone, email, etc.

•

Document each call as per company and departmental policies and procedures.

•

Apply a positive customer service attitude in interactions with all customers. Be able to establish a positive rapport.

•

Be patient and understanding in all customer interactions.

•

Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication with internal and external customers.

•

All other duties assigned by the manager.

Compensation & Benefits:

•

Remote Position

•

Working hours of 5pm - 10pm Monday through Friday, and one weekend worked a month (Sat and Sun are 8a-8pm).

•

Compensation: $18/hour - $20/hour

Requirements:

•

1-3 years as a customer care specialist or representative experience'

•

one weekend worked a month (Sat and Sun are 8a-8pm). This is non-negotiable. Can switch weekends with manager approval.

•

Knowledge of spreadsheets (Shamrock uses Google Business Suite)

•

Great written and verbal communication skills

•

Excellent goal-setting, and motivation

•

Good problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills

•

Exceptional organization, time management and multitasking abilities

•

Good with computers and have a quiet environment to work from

•

Keen attention to detail
