Energy Management Corporation (EMC) is seeking a Customer Service Specialist for our Salt Lake City office. This customer service role focuses on supporting sales and operations in an industrial electrical environment. The ideal candidate has experience with industrial products (such as motors, drives, or generators) and demonstrates strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
•Respond to inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and e-commerce channels.
•Support EMC's different groups with quoting, order fulfillment, and CRM maintenance.
•Provide accurate and timely product and service information to customers.
•Maintain data in CRM and ERP systems to ensure order accuracy and follow-through.
•Develop and implement outbound communication plans to support existing accounts and generate new business opportunities.
•Act as a liaison between internal departments and customers to resolve issues and deliver high-quality service.
•Develop in-depth knowledge of industrial electrical products including motors, VFDs, and generators.
Qualifications:
•Minimum 2 years of customer service experience in an industrial or technical environment.
•Familiarity with industrial electrical products or mechanical equipment.
•Experience using CRM or ERP systems such as Salesforce, SharpSpring, or Zoho.
•Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Physical Requirements:
•Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
•Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
•Visual requirements include close vision and focus adjustment.
