About the Role:

is seeking a skilled craft Recruiter to join our team. The Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring skilled craft professionals to support industrial projects. This role focuses on high-volume recruitment of trades such as welders, pipefitters, boilermakers, foreman, and other craft roles. The ideal candidate has a strong knowledge of the industrial labor market and excels in building pipelines of qualified, safety-minded candidates to meet ongoing and project-based workforce demands.
Key Responsibilities:
•Source and attract qualified craft professionals through job boards, social media, job fairs, relationships, referrals, and industry networks.
•Conduct phone screens and interviews to assess trade qualifications, certifications, and project experience.
•Collaborate with project managers and field leadership to determine manpower needs and start dates.
•Maintain a pipeline of ready-to-deploy craft workers for fast-paced project staffing needs.
•Ensure all candidates meet safety, compliance, and site-specific hiring requirements (e.g., TWIC, NCCER, OSHA).
•Coordinate pre-employment processes including background checks, drug screening, craft testing, and onboarding with the resource team.
•Enter and track candidates in the tracking system and maintain accurate records.
•Attend hiring events, job fairs, workforce development programs, and community outreach activities to promote open roles.
•Maintain strong communication with hiring managers, ensuring alignment on job qualifications and hiring timelines.
•Support rehire tracking, job transfers, and terminations for craft personnel as needed.
•Provide recruitment updates when necessary
Qualifications:
•High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
•3 plus years of craft recruiting experience, preferably in industrial, construction, or skilled trades environments.
•Working knowledge of craft trades and certifications.
•Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
•Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
•Ability and willingness to travel to job sites and hiring events as needed.
Preferred Certifications (Not Required):
•Certified Staffing Professional (CSP)
•NCCER knowledge or certification
Working Conditions:
•Primarily office-based, with required travel to job sites or job fairs.
•35% travel is required on an as needed basis.
•May require extended hours during peak hiring periods.
