Job Summary
The Receptionist greets Cement Operations visitors in a friendly and timely manner, answers and directs phone calls, keeps the reception area clean, and coordinates meeting room schedules.
Responsibilities
- Promptly greet visitors upon arrival and connect them with the appropriate personnel
- Answer the phone in a friendly, timely manner and direct calls to the correct person
- Maintain compliance with organization security policies
- Keep reception area clean and ensure the waiting area or walkways are clutter free
- Keep the company directory and extension list current
- Coordinate scheduling, booking, and catering for all meetings and conference rooms
- Contribute to team effort by performing all required duties in a timely manner
- Maintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies by attending all required HSE training sessions, safety meetings, and always utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Other duties as assigned
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required
- Previous experience as a receptionist preferred
- Oilfield experience preferred
- Expert verbal communication skills required
- Personable, able to interact (in person and over the phone) in a friendly and professional manner with clients or personnel at all levels of the organization
- Team player
- Able to function a multi-line landline phone system
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications
- Must be physically able to sit or stand for long periods of time
- Light physical requirements that include moving objects up to 20 pounds
