The Doe Run Company is seeking a Raw Materials Assistant to enter, in a timely and accurate manner, the data for most of the scrap and additive metal receipts. Additionally, compiling general customer reports, invoices for recycling services, recycling certificates for customers, filing, and overall customer service tasks. This day shift position will be located at Buick Resource Recycling Division in Boss, Mo.

Education & Experience:

- High School Diploma or equivalent

- Minimum 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office, data entry, and 10-key touch.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and Outlook.

- Knowledge of billing software or ERP (Peoplesoft), preferred.

- Proficient in math and written communication.

Responsibilities:

- Data entry of material receipts for raw material customers.

- Invoicing and management of recycling, certificates, and assorted fees and charges.

- Responsible for end of month reports, weekly customer reports, and monthly tolling reports.

- Responsible for file management, retention, and disposal.

- Complete tasks in a safe and environmentally compliant manner by following EHS (environmental, health and safety) policies, procedures and best practices; support and assist peers in working in a safe, compliant manner; report unsafe acts or conditions, incidents, and deviations; and provide feedback to support continuous improvement in EHS performance.

- Other duties as assigned.

Work Environment, Physical & Lifting:

- Work is generally performed in a standard office setting. May occasionally be exposed to moderate noise levels.

- Regularly required to sit for extended periods of time. Frequently required to stand, walk, and perform repetitive movement, and maintain attention. Occasionally required to talk and hear. Requires clarity of vision at 20 feet or more and 20 inches or less, three-dimensional vision, the ability to judge distance and spatial relationships, precise hand-eye coordination, and the ability to identify and distinguish colors.

- Frequently required to lift up to 5 pounds. Occasionally required to lift 6-15 pounds.
