Quality Control personnel ensure that products, components, and processes meet established standards and specifications. They conduct inspections, verify materials, and document compliance. Key responsibilities include hardware and project verification, quality checks on received materials, and reporting deficiencies to the Warehouse Supervisor. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and proficiency in inspection techniques are essential for this role.
1. Receiving Quality Control: Inspect received materials for quality, correct measurements, component types, and quantities.
2. Hardware Verification: Verify picked hardware for correct components and quantities.
3. Photo Documentation: Conduct picture verification for hardware and top rails, ensuring clarity and accuracy, and upload project-specific photos to the company server.
4. Project Verification: Perform overall project verification to confirm completeness and accuracy.
5. Material and Product Inspection: Perform inspections on materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
6. Quality Assurance Testing: Develop and execute quality assurance tests throughout the production cycle.
7. Root Cause Analysis & Corrective Actions: Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality issues.
8. Deficiency Reporting: Identify and report any deficiencies to the Warehouse Supervisor.
9. Inventory Management: Assist with inventory processes, including counting and reconciliation.
10. Forklift Operation & Material Handling – Safely operate a variety of forklifts, including those with specialized attachments such as clamps, to handle and move materials around the production area. This includes precise maneuvering within confined spaces, observing load limits, and adhering to protocols to prevent material damage or spills.
11. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain documentation of inspections, test results, and quality control reports.
12. Process Documentation: Develop, document, and maintain quality control processes and standard operating procedures to support consistency, training, and continuous improvement efforts.
