Your Job

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Quality Assurance Technician to join our team at our Katy Office. The QA Technician will be responsible for ensuring that products meet company standards and regulatory requirements by assisting field QC and conducting audits throughout the production process. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with production, external fabricators, and field QC teams to maintain high-quality standards.

Our Team

Our Quality Assurance team closely partners with outside fabricators, field construction, document control, and engineering to ensure that materials, processes, and final products meet client and engineering specifications. This role is critical to achieving project milestones and ensuring compliance with quality standards.

What You Will Do

- Ensure that only qualified welders, approved welding procedures, and specified materials are used in fabrication.

- Identify and report any quality defects or deviations from specifications, and work with relevant departments or vendors to resolve issues.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and customer specifications.

- Audit fabrication documentation and OPD's Construction Management System (CMS) to ensure accuracy and compliance with project quality standards.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

- Experience in quality assurance, quality control, or a related field within the Oil & Gas Industry.

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, Word, Access), and PDF viewers such as Bluebeam or Adobe Acrobat.

- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, isometrics, P&IDs, and specifications.

- This role is not eligible for VISA sponsorship.

What Will Put You Ahead

- Progressive experience in quality assurance, quality control, or a related field within the Oil & Gas Industry.

- Knowledge of industry regulations and standards (e.g., ASME, API, AWS).
