This position may be what you are looking for, our busy pump shop is looking to fill entry level positions to support our growth.
This is an entry level position, and no previous pump shop experience is required. We are willing to provide training to candidates with mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn. In this role, you will report to the Base Manager and will support the pump shop technicians with assembly, testing and inspection of our progressing cavity pumps (PC pumps) and other associated products. To guarantee success, you will need to possess organizational skills, attention to detail and a safety-minded attitude. You will receive training from the industry leaders in progressive cavity pumps and we offer opportunities for career advancement.
In alignment with the Lifting Solutions culture, mission, vision and values, you will be responsible to:
- Safely disassemble, inspect, assemble, and prepare Progressive Cavity pumps and related components for testing and delivery
- Conduct functional, pressure, and performance testing using calibrated test equipment; accurately record and document results
- Interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and specifications to ensure correct assembly and configuration
- Identify wear, damage, or non‑conforming components and recommend repair or replacement actions
- Maintain strict attention to detail to ensure product quality, reliability, and compliance with customer and company standards
- Handle pumps and components carefully to prevent damage and preserve product integrity
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs on shop tools, test equipment, and fixtures
- Complete all required documentation, test records, and quality checklists accurately and on time
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area in accordance with 5S and shop standards
- Actively participate in daily safety meetings, job safety analyses (JSAs), hazard assessments, and safety initiatives
- Follow all company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements related to safety, quality, and environmental practices
- Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and workflow
- Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to meet delivery schedules and customer expectations
