The Property Maintenance Technician is responsible for internal maintenance, repair, and service tasks across more than 30 residential, commercial, and industrial properties. This position ensures that all buildings, systems, and grounds are maintained to a safe, functional, and high-quality standard. The technician operates as a jack-of-all-trades — providing support for general facility maintenance and project base maintenance.
- Conduct routine inspections of properties to identify maintenance and repair needs.
- Perform general repairs including plumbing, minor electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall repair, and appliance troubleshooting.
- Support move-in/move-out processes to ensure units are clean, safe, and operational.
- Complete preventive maintenance tasks according to established property schedules.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, including after-hours when required.
- Maintain accurate records of materials, time, and completed work across all properties.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and verify quality of completed work.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Report recurring or systemic issues to property management for long-term resolution.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicle in good working order.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities across multiple trades.
- Effective time management and independence to manage maintenance across many properties.

- Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and professional conduct.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.
- Experience: 3–5 years in property or building maintenance; multi-site experience preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs, work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varied weather conditions; must hold a valid driver’s license.
