Maintenance performs repair, maintenance, and preventive maintenance activities related to building and grounds, equipment, machinery, as directed. In addition, maintenance may fabricate new tooling as directed.
Perform maintenance skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of machinery and equipment.
Perform maintenance of buildings and grounds including but not limited to electrical, plumbing and carpentry repairs.
Operate manual lathe, mill, saws, shears, wheel grinders, tool post grinder as needed.
Operate various measuring tools ie. calipers, mics, rules, multimeters, etc.
Maintain maintenance areas in an orderly and organized manner.
Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules and regulations.

Associate degree in industrial maintenance or 4 years’ experience in an industrial maintenance environment.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to visitors and other employees in the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute unit of measure conversions and interpret bar and line graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form including mechanical drawings. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
