Position Summary

This role is responsible for supporting the Mesabi Metallics project team, ensuring that resources, documentation, and communication are effectively managed to help meet project deadlines and objectives.

Job Responsibilities

The Project Support Staff will

be responsible for

the following:

- Project Support: Support Project Team as required

- Material Management: Identify and distribute materials to the proper area

- Safety & Admin Support: Support the safety & Admin team as directed by Project Team

- Improve Efficiency: Support project team to enhance contractor efficiency and provide support for positive environment, external stakeholder management & ultimately timely project completion

Skills and Qualifications

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to assist in planning, coordinating, and tracking project progress, ensuring deadlines and milestones are met.

- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality

- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

- Valid driver’s license and willing to drive for work related requirements

- MSHA Certification will be required

Education

- High School Diploma

Physical Requirements

- Ability to lift 50+ pounds

- Exposure to the elements (rain, snow, cold, heat, etc) is to be expected

Salary

- $28.50 hourly, depending on experience and qualifications
